Ski Trip - Winter Park, Colorado
31 years... yes, 31 years... that's how long 2nd Mile Adventures has been taking kids and familys to Winter Park, CO. Over the years we have seen a lot of changed lives as we are impacted by Gods word and amazed by his handy work - The Rocky Mountains.
This past year we added a new tradition. As we positioned ourselves for God to pry open each individuals awesome potential, we were given an opportunity to apply some of that potential by serving in the very community that we stay in each year. The group spent part of a day helping out in the local Grand County food bank.
What seemed like a little thing turned out to be a big help to the people in Grand County and had a lasting impact on our entire group.
Space is limited to 64 open spots. Cost is $398 for 3 days skiing or add $37 for 4 days skiing.
Prices includes lift tickets, 5 days lodging, transportation, ski trip shirt/gear, and 5 days of meals. Equipment rental and lesson are not included.

Kids 2 Kids started in 2011 when we challenged the Ski Trip to gather food, clothing, and/or cash donation to help stock a local food bank, Mountain Family Center, in Grand County.
The Grand County area has given the Ski Trip such an amazing place to visit and change lives that we want to start giving back to the Grand County area.
In 2011 we FULLY stocked the food bank, thrift store and paid for the food bank delivery in the month of April. This freed up 80% of their budget!
2012 we want to help Mountain Family Center with their Tote Bag program. This program provides kids in school with a Tote Bag of food to take home on the weekends to make sure no kid goes hungry. Help us and lets stock Mountain Family Center with enough food to fill those Tote Bags!
You can help the Ski Trip kids fill Tote Bags by bringing non perishable food items to the 2nd Mile Adventures office (1740 Park Ave. Winona Lake, IN). We will be partnering with other local areas businesses and setting up at different locations to help gather donation. So make sure you keep checking back and finding out where the new drop location is or when we will be out and about!
